>>4227583I have.
I was once at a local camera store, and the owner was a nice older man, always letting me test our their new equipment.
But one day I was at the store, he had a seizure and him and me were the only people in the store.
And just as he was having the seizure, I had just taken my camera rig apart, its an amazing rig, entered around a Sony A7iii, and I was standing there with all of the pieces of the rig just scattered around me, and I was worried, If I left the parts to help him, then someone might comein and take some of the parts.
I knew that wouldn't be too much of a problem, because all of the rig parts except for the screws and rods were a gift from the owner of the store since he didnt have any grandchildren and I always came to test new cameras and see if I could haggle the price down on some equipment.
mom and pop stores can always sell stuff at below what they paid for it and still make a profit. I don't know how, but my younger brother told me, and belive me, it makes sense. I just don't remember the reasoning.
anyways. I was standing there while he had the seizure, and I wanted to help him, but I wanted to put the rig back together first so I could carry it all with me in one pice so I could keep an eye on it while I helped him. And I really wanted to call an ambulance, but I was expecting a very important call that day. As an older, overweight guy, its pretty hard to find an attractive teen girlfriend, but the day before, I flirted with a girl form dominos pizza and when I asked for her number, she told me that I could just give her mine, and she promised to call. (I know, "promised" right? but I held her wrist really hard an told her to promise me on her family's life and that means a lot.) We really had a connection, so I didnt want to mess it up.
But I assembled my rig, and it did take about 20 minutes, but that's only because I kept misaligning it so it didnt feel centred.
Then I got over to the store owner...
