I live in Berlin and there are many stations where they have decorated the walls with prints of Street Photography. I find this incredible and love looking at them. My general observation has been that the population loves it too.
These shots are mostly from a past era from 1920s to 1980s. Its great to see how the station you stand on once used to look like 30-40 years ago. The shots we take today will be a great insight in to todays conditions 30 to 40 years from now.
What I observe about people who hate streetphotography is that you pick the worst photos and try to build a critique on it. There are many shit photographers out there, just checkout gurushots ffs, does that mean that photography in general is bad?? Im not even gonna debate the asinine argument of "jerking off to pics" how broken does your mind have to be from porn that you sit in your moms basement and that this is the first thought that crosses your mind.
