My ex's mom was a dressmaker. We were going to get some fabric that's transparent to IR, then I'd record her walking around busy areas with my IR camera.
We broke up before we got around to it.

Seeing through sunglasses and glass top stoves was a fun novelty. I could never see through any clothes.

Every photo people claimed was see through was either really thin to the point it was see through with editing or it was wet like tight bathing suits. I'd also like to see examples of what everyone is talking about, because I'm not sure I really believe it.

Only when there is an IR floodlight (usually security camera related).
'Normal' night photos actually have more light (regular non-IR plus the IR from security cams). It's easy to tell the difference (different color temp)

Local church with IR lights in center, a plane, stars, normal.human lighting on L and R
30 minutes ago.
12mm Rokinon f2 @ f2 i think. it was dark.
minimal editing in Capture.One
camera is fujifim xt1 with 850nm sensor mod.
