How do you guys figure out pricing your services? I've been taking photos for a while now in a small-medium sized city, mostly event photography for local music events, and I just charge a flat $90/hr rate because that's what the mean was when I searched online. But I've realized that has limited what kind of clients I can take on. I want to expand my services and get more business so I'm thinking of how to create a variety of tiers or packages for different jobs(adverts, events, portraits, etc).
I've been doing some research into how others price their services and I've seen.
>charging per image
>charging per day/ half day fees
>charging by half hour and limiting to 1 location
What are some of the ways you guys have tackled this?
