Analog vs digital is irrelevant, and besides "digital" sensors are analog before the ADC. So again, even if "strong" CFAs were really better, you wouldn't be able to see it.
You're in this contradiction because you believe a falsehood, that RGB overlap loses information critical to color detection. It does not. Given the way materials tend to reflect light in the real world, it's probably better than a system with hard RGB cut offs.
