Hello sirs, I am making a documentary featuring low light forest shots. Is there any recommendation as to what choice of camera to buy?

I am making a documentary about Djinn and many of the photography will be at night.

I recommend the canon r6 and an f1.8 or less lens of 35mm or less alhamdulillah & may allah punish isntreal (and sony)

You can get the older S5 for cheap, maybe $1200. A canon fd 50mm f1.4 and an adapter will cos around $100, then spend the rest on lights and sound.

No the old S5, without phase detect. You can still get them new for cheap, and depending on what You're shooting you probably don't want to use autofocus.
