It's the internet, anyone can pinch and zoom to 1000000% eventually it will look like shit. Ideally not at 200% but it's a gear issue.

At 50mm there is fuck all difference between f2 and f7 if you are standing 2 big steps from whatever you are photographing.

Shallow depth of field at 50mm or 35mm is a total waste of time unless you go something silly like f1.4 or put your camera really damn close to your subject.

I have this same problem. It’s because 200% on 4k screens isn’t pixel:pixel. There’s smoothing going on. Web browsers force viewing photos at like 150dpi.

I'm not so sure, photos on my phone turn out pretty good and just random/non-posed glances in the mirror look perfectly fine.
