what's your workflow from camera to finished photo? adobe bridge or no?

I plug my camera into my computer and copy the photos. Then I use the programs that do what I want to do. It works on everything with a USB port. Except iphones. Fuck apple.

Hell, no! It's designed for forced adobe ecosystem.

—Total Commander to copy shit to NAS.
—Faststone for quick culling
—Raw editor
—Export or send to Photoshop for a few things that can't be done in editor

1. Put SD card in to computer because Panasonic was too gay to put a cfExpress port in the G9ii
2. Use bulk rename, which is set up to rename everything by date.
3. Convert everything on the SD to DNG files with the save location set as an external SSD.
Preview and delete.
4. Open on Lightroom or davinci depending on what I'm doing.
5. Photos that are keepers but not bangers will eventually be converted to lossy DNG. Timelapse will be converted to lossless 10bit DNG using slimRAW. Footage will be trimmed and kept.

I used to use photo mechanic and C1 with occasional retouching in Photoshop. Which was such a hassle I can hardly believe I did it for 8 years.

Then some years ago I started doing more film photography, which forced me into Lightroom and Negative Lab, and these days I do all but my film editing on my Android tablet while on commute. Which is so hassle free I could actually call it fun.

While I prefer to C1, the ease of doing it like that trumps any other consideration. I want my workflow to be as minimal as possible.

photos go in folder named after the camera it was taken with, files sorted by date
edited with camera raw in photoshop
exported to JPEG folder inside of camera folder
then i'll either print 'em or send 'em to ppl
