I enjoy the photobook I created from photos I took. I like it because it's special to me.

I got one of these as a gift in '94 or so. There was one shot that was all brass stuff... it was so gaudy and I loved to hate it. It wasn't the one that shows up when you jewgle it.

Sometimes when I have guests, my photobook shelf sparks their interest and I usually go for this book first to show them what the medium can be all about. They don't have to have the concept explained, since they are familiar with family albums, but using this format to tell a particular story is new to all of them. It's a shame that photobooks never found mainstream acclaim.
