under $5000 dollars preferably
mainly want to take good wildlife photos

With a 5000 dollar budget get any prosumer body with a a decent lens. An r5/r6 with the 100-500 would set you up nicely for about that much money. I use mine for photographing landwhales

You can’t beat nikon for actually lasting in the field and having the most advanced sensor not crippled by snoy e-mount and their awful color science

Cannot is a video meme and guaranteed to go back for cervix yearly. Nikon’s a recall and done brand because they don’t let defective cameras float around like panasonic, sony, and fuji.

Am I dumb for not wanting 40+ MP? Unless really sharp lenses do not look that good cropped in. I'd rather get it right in the camera and have raws that aren't huge.
