is it too scratched / dusty?

I've found an affordable 24-70 2.8 L II, there is significant dust on the rear element & scratches on the front, I'll attach more below. I'd really appreciate opinions before I pull the trigger

Does seller say it's dust and not scratches? Because otherwise, the picture looks good, they put in some minimum amount of effort to take the picture, and decided to just not blow away this dust? Or perhaps it is behind the rear element, and you'll need to take it apart to clean.

stated as inside. it doesn't seem to affect the pictures provided but its hard to tell what is inside & what is just a result of not being cleaned for the picture... it is the same with every product shot on ebay they're too fucking lazy to clean

tough call without testing it. it's probably noticeable under some circumstances, and you'll be able to work around it. what's the asking price? If it's 500 it might be worth it, but also consider the mk1 or other lens for that price. if it's your dream lens, wait for the right one

asking price £770, I found another one that's basically pristine for £10 more though so I pulled the trigger on that this morning, completely liquifying myself. now to get hold of a 6d mark II before I go to Scotland for Xmas :')

protip: everything after "395030091165" is tracking bullshit. the real item link is just www.ebay.co.uk/itm/395030091165. either install a browser plugin that removes the tracking parts automatically or remove them yourself before pasting the link. same shit with amazon
