>>4267051 is absolutely true. 4chan is literally full of people like you, AKA haughty "my teacher said I was smart" type teens and young adults that are about to realize they wasted their entire life in advance. Back in real life, the only measure of talent is youth, intelligence, and education. Every supposed real artist you've ever known of is a smart man who went to school and learned a skill before he turned 12. If you are not smart, you can not perform, and if you are not young, you can not learn, and if you have no teacher, you have nothing to learn. There is no such thing as raw creativity. You will never, ever pick up something, let it come naturally to you, and produce anything good. The least educated still looked at or listened to prior works and let that be their teacher.
In that way photography is perfect for you. No matter how delusional you are, if you take enough snapshits you might get something good. Now, painting? Music? I'd say you're fucked even if you did learn the rules. Maybe you developed this opinion after failing at a real art, while simultaneously lacking the self awareness to realize that you are too old/dumb to learn or cant afford a good teacher (if you're underage, if you're old/dumb no teaching can save you).
You probably saw a kid blow you out the water and thought he was running on raw creativity. Wrong. They learned the rules, so they could break them and make new ones, instead of just random garbage.
