This would solve all the mobile <> desktop orientation thing.

With square photos, and square videos. There is no portrait or landscape mode anymore.

It would be good for mobile and also for desktops.

I bet it would sell it like hot cakes.
Unless the lenses aren't actually tested for image quality beyond their usual coverage. But all inner lenses are circular and there is no engraved top or bottom position on them, so I guess most of them would be fine.
