Hello everyone, so I recently went from a rebel t7 with kit lens to a used 7d mark ii with a 17-50 f/2.8 sigma lens. It's been great so far, but part of me thinks it was retarded to get the 7d ii. I love the ruggedness and customizability and controls but I'm not using the fancy AF tracking for shooting sports or action or wildlife or anything. In fact I've been enjoying more studio-type things like portraits with off camera flash and still life/product photos. Portraits are probably my favorite if I had to pick something. Now I have a 50mm 1.8, I'm thinking of just selling the 7d ii and sigma lens and picking up a 5d iii with an 85 1.8 and 35 1.8 prime lens pair. Seems like the strengths of that setup would be more aligned with my interests as a photographer, but I don't really need it technically.

The pros:
- full frame

The cons:
- lose a bit of money
- 5d iii has worse AF
- no zooms in my kit
- any ff lenses in the future are expensive, and I can't rely on cheap EF-S options being available

I'd appreciate any input you guys would have (without any mft/FF wars if possible)
