>>4277417Im not comfortable being a "touristy" person, I like to "belong" with the crowd Im in, and that usually means I just dont take pictures of anything. I also didn't feel comfortable taking pictures if people were too close, a lot of Japanese are sensitive about pictures and I didnt want to be another foreigner just taking pictures that the random street-goers wouldnt want to be in. And the nikon being like 10 lbs meant I almost never had it with me, Seeing how these shots came out I should have taken way more. Im probably not going back to Japan for a long time so I really regret that. TLDR Im an autist
>top leftI never noticed that, It could be a smudge also. I was manhandling that camera like it was no one business since I kept it in my coat pocket
>maybe focusing on simple composition and shooting focus free I definitely need more practice with manual focus, some of those shots came out so kino but like the two you pointed out slightly off. Im not a super huge fan of half frame, do you have an recs for full frame camerass like that?
>>4277422I didnt really understand how to focus the nikon so I set it to max for background shots. I had never used any old manual focus before this so I was learning as I went. Also my eyesight is really bad so I cant tell if its focused through the viewfinder since it always looks a little blurry to me
>what's going on here?pic rel, its the tokyo opera city, ceiling of the auditorium
>cool, i wanna check this out when i go later in the yearIts realllllly hard to get a good shot with the monorail actually in it, I wish I got more its such a cool train. I went because of Oregairu buts its definitely a must see that gets little to no tourism so its quiet. I recommend checking out the radio tower nearby
