>>4281579Not to diminish your bf's work, they look good considering the tools he likely had at hands. From your pic, your bf's pizzas were clearly cooked through the oven. We all have to start somewhere, but I strongly suggest getting one of those little reds (G3 Ferrari, Ariete 909, whatever model your Amazon has). They are cheap and yet they are not a meme. I repeat, they are NOT a meme. And god knows I frown upon unnecessary appliance buys. Probably the best investment I made in these past 15 years. Yes, even above my SPY ETF.
For a good pizza, apart from using Typo 00 flour at 65% hydration (and even that is not THAT important), the most important point is the heat and duration. You want the pizza to be cooked as quickly as possible for as high T° as possible. Those little ovens go to 400°C on the fire brick, and close to 500° on the heating elements, which get super close to the pizza. Ideally a pizza should be cooked in 1min30, even a bit less. Those little red ovens and their clones will do it in ~2min30 (et bit less with an easy mod), good enough for the regular Joe.
Trust me, just one of these will completely change your pizzas, how they look and how they taste.
