I can't give you a parts lists because it will depend on your nvd and lens, but the general idea is nvd > adapter > lens with filter diameter that matches the adapter. At that point you have to experiment to find the best shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. This was taken with an Armasight Nyx-14 Pro Gen 3 Alpha, the Armasight camera adapter for the Nyx-14, and a Canon EOS M. I forget if I used the 22mm f/2 or 18-55mm. My nvd is mid spec. The recording is never as good as it looks to the eye, but it still allows for some cool captures.
