>>4280347The digital signal is most definitely going to be 10bit and cleaner with less distortion or noise, and not affected by any outside electric interference. It's possible VGA may be visually clean but it's up to you to test and see. For best quality digital signal is always prefered.
>>4280349Ok, so you have the CCU box (the thing in your picture). A single box only works with one camera at a time. To support multiple cameras, you'd have to get a separate box for each.
Genlock IN provides sync signal for the camera, Genlock Out routes the genlock back so other devices could be connected in the chain. It shouldn't be necessary for this camera.
Hd-sdi IN provides return feed for the camera. Doesn't seem like the camera uses this feature.
Connect the OFC ports between the camera and the CCU with an LC single mode duplex fiber cable and the video signal will be available via the CCU SDI outputs.
The first card provides two HD-SDI outputs and a VGA output. You're interested in this one.
The second card provides standard definition SDI, composite and VGA outputs.
Another method that you can use to receive video is by using a PCIE SDI input card (e.g. Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Recorder does the job) if your PC doesn't have thunderbolt.
