Anyone here ever calibrated a scanner with an IT8 target?
Do I need a specific target type? I see stuff like "IT 8.7/1 Type 3 (35mm) For Kodak Ektachrome film" and "IT 8.7/1 Type 3 (35mm) For old and renewed Fujichrome Velvia 50 film".
All the targets I see for sale are for old film types. Like none for Kodak Gold or the new Fuji 200/400 etc.
Does that mean calibration is useless?
Do I need a matching IT8 slide/card for every film I use?
