hello there,

I'd like to know if anyone could help me here I'm trying to find out how many Lenses were made for the Olympus Pen E-PL1 Camera when it came out, I'm wanting to get all or as many Lenses as I can for this camera, I've gotten back into photography lately and I want to use more than just the one that came with the camera back when I got it

ITT: idiots failed basic reading comprehension test, OP likely balked at such retardation and took 30 seconds to google the camera's release date then sort mft lens by release date, filter by Olympus and see that there are idk probably like 8 or something

well which ever are the best ones to get for the Pen E-PL1, this is why I've asked this question I don't know firstly how many there are that are compatible for this specific camera and second what would be the most suitable ones for this camera

Use the one that came with it and keep a journal about whenever you wanted to zoom in, zoom out, focus closer, open the aperture more, etc and how good you think the photo would have been

Then look at existing lens options and apply common sense

Also, buy a godox tt350o or two and an x1t-o/xpro-o and read strobist.com

that's not at all what this is about I'm trying to find out all of or possibly more to the point just how many lenses they are for this camera.

I haven't done any real serious photography since this camera came out and I just wanted to know, if you had actually read what I wrote wanting to know how many lenses (or all of them depending on how many there are) were made specifically for this camera the Pen E-PL1, not every single micro four thirds lenses there are in existence.

Lenses are NOT made specifically for the camera. It's an open mount. Every micro four thirds is the same except for brand specific sync-IS, which doesnt matter because this crappy point and shit doesnt support that feature anyways (you can STILL use any lens, only the stabilization will be less on literally any and every lens)

it just says that the Olympus E-PL1 has a Micro Four Thirds lens mount if this is what you are wanting and/or asking for because I'm not too entirely sure exactly what the name of the mount for the camera is or would be

Yes, that is what I'm looking for. That means any micro four thirds lens will work on that body and it's still in production today. Go onto any major camera retailer's website and look up micro four thirds lenses and those will work.

If you only wanted those which are 'period correct' you'll have to find out what year the camera released and then find lenses that were also released around that same time.
