The reason WWE works on a level so much higher than AEW is because it has consistent power levels and its own logic. This is why autists latch on to it because it's extremely consistent in how it works. It's also why guys who break the mold, like Punk or Danielson, become so over. Because they have a journey to the top of a framework that pushes back constantly. AEW just lets anything go. Which is great to book, but nothing has any stakes or build. There's no hierarchy. Nobody is unbeatable in AEW, there's no unconquerable beast. Maybe Moxley at one point. Everybody jobs for everyone and everybody is an equal.
