The bigger problem is that wrestlers don't have enough originality in 2k, maybe because of the size of their roster everyone's just moves and stats piled on top of the default caw body. It's been that way since the really exaggerated, flamboyant animations in HCTP/SVR and even those were just for top stars and a few undercard finishers

The logo/face creation tools are shoot underrated and fun to play around with if you have any art/photoshop background at all. But yeah, they have a very limited number of wrestler bodies to actually put the stuff on, probably because they have to fit with all the clothing parts and move animations

I can understand some of their design choices but I don't know how they could work for that long on an AEW game with no trios matches (maybe thanks to the Switch?), a barely functional caw system and weapon physics that look like that

2K23 isn't bad, I actually like the way the matches flow which is rare for wrestling games, they finally made stuff like pin/submission minigame difficulty and AI tendencies customizable, but if you don't care about the current WWE roster and you don't care about the caw stuff it's not worth full price
