The nervousness and self-doubt was absolutely warranted and brilliantly captured - Jeff was never the toughest and most confident guy around but his heart could no longer tolerate the disrespect he recieved time after time, and so it wasn't a match he wanted - it's one he needed. This was a scary situation for him and one that he wasn't used to, so it was absolutely normal to appear the way he did as it wasthe first time he was ever pushed liked this. I'm sure others like myself can perfectly relate to the situation he was in and the emotions he was going through during the promo. So yes, it was a fantastic promo and anyone who disagrees simply does not understand wrestling.
