Meanwhile, in Japan, it's not just about smarks. The MARKS themselves love purokino. They're two different audiences that have had a very different history across the past 3 to 5 decades. The product is made for the audiences. Trying to transplant one product into another audience and trying to force it down people's throats simply does not work. ROH got away with it with Misawa and KENTA because it was a different promotion that was coming off actual American full on smarks that used to watch ECW. This edition of ROH has its audience be AEW fans, which, has I mentioned already, are just former e-drones that got VDS and were likely huge NXTfags before making the switch.
