Hobbs: Start from the beginning. Start for how this actually came up.
Danielson: How did the flaccid penis talk come up? I found it funny. There is a masculine culture thing around sex and penis size and erections and whatever it is. Locker room type talk. I was like, that's not the funny part about penises. The funny part is a flaccid penis. Nobody wants to talk about it.
Hobbs: I always thought that was weird. It's a big blue dick.
Danielson: As somebody who was forced to retire for a period of time, when you're gone, you miss it. I didn't want to be in a locker room where everyone is 'Hello, sir.' For example, Lee Moriarty, he is very respectful and a great human being and wrestler. He is somebody who is 'hello sir, nice to meet you.' Now, he'll be like, 'Bryan, are you talking about flaccid penises again?'
Hobbs: He's opened up.
Danielson: He's like 'stop.' What it does is it opens it up to be, we can have real conversations. It was a tool to get to know people and not have them treat you with this idea of 'I need to call you sir.' We can just have fun. Lately, I've been steering away from the flaccid penis talk. That's deliberate.
Hobbs: Why?
Danielson: Since I've been out with a broken arm, I've gotten multiple texts from people saying, 'there is a lack of flaccid penis talk in the locker room.'
Hobbs: You know when you come back to the locker room, that's going to be the first thing that comes up.
Danielson: I was there on Wednesday, I walked in the locker room, 'hey guys.' 'Flaccid penis talk has been missing.' Is that my legacy now? Is that where I'm at?
Hobbs: If you ever write a book, you have the flaccid penis chapter.
Danielson: I wrote a book. The word penis may not have ever been mentioned, which is shocking given how my mind thinks.
Hobbs: We may have to add a chapter.
