thier seems to be a phenomenon in the recent decade where the corporate marketing teams have been just taking awful pictures of new products that make them look like shit only for it to then look much better in person. Cars have had this happen with the new Nissan Z looking awful in the press pics but looking alright in real life

Better than the last few new belt designs, though I did like the cutout idea of the Big W belt, it was just too basic.

This belt brings back the eagle, and the lions, and keeps the side plate concept. I think that, while kind of a mess (maybe dual-plating would've helped) it's still an improvement so I won't be too hard on it.

my main problem with it is that the fucking logo doesn't fit with the rest of the design around it.
you have the typical gold design of the old belts around it, and a shiny plastic looking W right in the middle.

I didn’t say it’s shit. I said it’s big gold at home which it is.
I then said it’s largely hated because it’s a consolation prize instead of an actual world title which it is.

If only one of these facts were present, it wouldn’t get as much heat. But as it stands it’s just a lesser, uglier, prestigeless version of a title they already have.
It’s better than the generic, pitiful big W and all it’s clones but that’s says nothing.
