It'll be a good show but probably not a good point to jump in because it's a cross promotion show with New Japan. If you decide to watch it you'll get a better idea of what AEW is like during Dynamite, and if you want to get into New Japan they have a large tournament coming up

Its just matches. For an experiment, try only watching Collision. I've been doing that since the debut and never watched Dynamite before, it makes AEW look decent and the story makes sense so far.

The best time to pick up any promotion from scratch is during some kind of tournament arc.
So typically no, FD isn’t a good PPV for this in general but this year AEW kicks off it’s 2nd Owen Tournament so it’s probably a better time than most to start especially since fall out from this show will lead up to Wembly’s All In (a multi promotion super show) and All Out (AEW’s biggest show of the year)
