This, they are fucked now because it's out and people spent money so even if they apologize people are still going to be pissed they lost their money and waited so long only to be disappointed. It's also a niche market so trying again and making a good game to win back fans is not very feasible as there aren't enough customers left with all the ones who got burnt either not buying again or being skeptic and not buying at full price, so the future of their games division and the employees there is also at risk.

Read all this. Get ready for a chuckle: AEWfags honestly believed that this first game was just a mulligan (practice shot) and that since they now have the "base game" they can build on it and make it better for "Fight Forever Too" (2027).

Problem is... you can't build a castle on a foundation of SHIT. They're gonna have to start from scratch with another game developer and after wasting so much money/time, not even Tony's daddy will greenlight it.

Matt says he likes the aew ladder match button mash but doesn’t like the 2k submission system even though it uses the same mash mechanic. 2K20 from what I remember had horrible models and a gorillion glitches that made the game almost unplayable

if Tony is willing to spend more money, Fight Forever could become a 7.5 or even 8.0 with several updates

The only reason it's averaging scores of 6/okay/decent is because the gameplay's pretty fun, it's basically the only thing it has going for it. It still feels like a scuffed, sped-up version of No Mercy with disjointed animations but you can see there's a decent base there. The game could undoubtedly get better with good post-launch support but I think the radio silence from everyone in the company including Kenny definitely points to it getting abandoned quick. Really seems like it wasn't getting anywhere and they just sped up the release to be done with it.

if they are not working on important stuff like new match types or a reworked CAW mode, I am fine with them abandoning it forever (pun intended)

If he doesn't have the assets he is fucked. Yukes started with old engines and animations for reference or even updating or just putting into Fight Forever. If they pick another company it's all from scratch. Also, the engine is not finished, mamu of those bugs and glitches are fundamental issues and the reason they can only have four wrestlers plus a tiny crowd doing the same animations are limitations that should not exist in the modern day. They may have to rework almost the whole engine.

Like, say a Day 1 patch usually takes 1 hour. But Fight Forever takes 9 hours. Standard or not, games that have a HUGE patch on release day is a bad bad sign.

No... the game seemingly can't run more than 4 people at once, which is why people eliminated instantly disappear so the next person can come out, if two people get eliminated at once the game bugs out. It's also the reason the crowd is so bad. The exploding ring also has both players do the same animation for a reason, they can't handle doing different animations with the explosion effects and even then sometimes the game bugs out. It'a also the reason weapons disappear so quick and bug so often. With four players the frame rate also drops.

People aren't even downloading the torrent it's so bad, story mode forgets if you won a title, storymode forgets who you're feuding with, women have the same story as men right down to feuding only with men after the first month, CAW options only have four selections in a field for women, PS4 players can't launch the game properly, many moves glitch you through the ring or barricade, fps drops to 20 or less, nobody can find matches online, AI loses the match by countout because they often stay outside the ring or get stuck
