My name is Kevin R. Nash and I was both a wrestler and an actor. I am also a survivor. I want people to understand what I went through in the summer of 1992 when I was brutally raped at gunpoint by a group of black men.

Even at the strangest of times, I force people to look at my anus to truly understand the trauma that I suffered. To get a glimpse of the damage to my body and the severity of my struggle, they must look closely at my anus.

My anus is a physical reminder of the terror and anguish that I endured on that summer day. It is a reminder of my strength and my courage. I am not afraid of showing people the true consequences of rape and violence.

I don’t want people to look away, I want them to look right at me and understand what I went through and what other survivors go through every day. That is why I show people my anus, because I want to be a living example of how we can survive even the darkest of moments in life.
