First you need to watch WWF/E, WCW, TNA, ROH and NJPW starting from 2010, then you read WON and Dave Meltzer's tweets. That should get you up to speed to what is happening on AEW.

There is currently a dimes yearly tournament called the CONTINENTAL CLASSIC taking place which will be the focus of Dynamite and Collision. You should tune into those matches and follow the competitors. It's a rare example of TK booking similar strength level people against each other, and also him having to have people lose clean.
