Unironically, wrestling is a very meme-driven entertainment industry. Even before the internet was popular enough to spread them. Little catchphrases, poses, snippets of music. Moves, whatever. Before the internet they got passed along on merch, word of mouth, signs, by kids at schools, referenced in other forms of media. It would make sense that the wrestling board creates superior memes.
