Call it head-canon all you want, there's a reason nobody is leaking details of what really went down. A gaggle of people breaking up the fight bumped into some monitors that fell on/around Tony? Give me a fucking break. You don't get a split this acrimonious without some REAL SHIT verbal exchanges taking place, without Punk calling TK incompetent to his face, in front of others.
If CM really went for TK's throat, TK's filing a police report and suspending (not firing) Punk for 6-12 months without pay, then firing him as soon as that suspension is up. You don't fire a guy same day and let him walk right into the arms of your competitor if you can suspend them without pay first. It's not what UFC does, not what NBA does, not what NFL does, so why the fuck would AEW do it? They wouldn't.
