These niggas were my favorite commentary team back when Noah was hot for a minute. Pickering was a turbo autist numbers guy who could quote any statistic about any wrestler on the roster and give you the entire history of their career. Fulton was an ex-MMA guy who sold each match as if it was a shoot sports competition and presented it as a genuine test of strength, speed, and skill. They made Noah feel like a much bigger deal than it actually was.

Shame Noah fell off so hard once Muta retired. CyberAgent should shoot fire anyone who is on the booking committee over how badly they fucked everything up.

Ventura was good, but no one had the same chemistry with Gorilla like Bobby Heenan did. I had a bit of a 'tism fit back in December and spent the month watching every episode of Prime Time wrestling. Even though that shit is 40 years old the banter between Monsson and Heenan had me me laughing my ass off. Legit GOAT tier commentary team.

Hate away, but these two might be my favorite commentary team of all time. I knew very little about NJPW before the AXS show but I was a huge fan after just watching one week of it and a lot of it has to do with these two. They really sold the product to me in a way very few announce teams have.
When Mauro's worst impulses are under control (which they were here IMO), his enthusiasm is infectious.
