>>12940605It's really more of a shot at drawfags and their mentality, which doesn't make any fucking sense.
Drawfags are autistic weirdos who like to use insider terms, pretend they're "one of the boys," like they're in the business or something. They talk about "money and miles," "working safe," and "drawing dimes" but none of these things make any sense because they're told from the perspective of actual wrestlers, not fans.
I think a lot of it has to do with drawfags being embarrassed that wrestling is no longer mainstream, so they feel like outcasts for being wrestling fans, so they develop some weird need to try and justify their interest through a wrestler's (or even a brand's) success.
I think it's weird as hell. You never see fans of a sports team saying shit like
>Well, sure, the Patriots were 4-13 this year but they drew all kinds of dimes>every game was SOLD OUT dude>and the Patriots sell the most merch in the league!!It would be fucking bizarre for any football fan to say things like this, yet there is a large subsection of pro-wrestling fans who live and die by this sort of thinking.
Fucking bizarre if you think about it and unique to wrestling.
