Unironically, AEW is more sports based now than at any point when they claimed to be it. But no one seems to care. When I say 'more sports based', it means there's still some goofy gimmicks and things like Cassidy, but there are more cleaner matches, a tournament 100 % of clean matches, and now a return of rankings.
