>>13277762What did stone cold have to do with WM 28? I watched religiously back then. That was the best time to be a fan besides 2005 for me (I started watching in 2002). Rock v Cena was a dream match. I was a humongous punk mark, but there is no way that I thought punk should have had that spot. A dream match is a dream match, and we get very few of those. Instead of bitching, just enjoy it for what it is. We're supposed to be fans. This is the stuff we tune in for: the characters and the drama. Cody is certainly a character, but his charisma isn't even in the same stratosphere as the rock's, and Cody won't draw in as many subscribers as the Rock will bring. It's just business. It's the wrestling "business". It has nothing to do with who the IWC likes more. I simped for D-bry back in the day, I even went to Mania 30 and marked out hard when he won. This isn't the same. The energy isn't the same. Casuals want the rock. Hell, I want the Rock v Roman. It's a once in a lifetime match. Cody v Roman could headline any ppv. Rock v Roman could only headline Wrestlemania.
