Riddle's had good matches with multiple opponents of different quality
Gable's been good in the past in tags and great with Gunther but everyone is kind of great with Gunther, i'd need to see him in more competitive high level matches to properly assess

I wanted to include Naito since he's the current IWGP champion but I haven't watched much of his run or even heard much so, I didnt want to just put out some generalized ratings based off of like 2019

Discerning the line between entertainment and promo is one of the more difficult parts of the rankings, like LA Knight's promos are entertaining and get great crowd engagement but that's more the gimmick/energy than the content of the words he's putting out, but I can agree with bumping him up to an 8
Might not be as easy to remember since he's gone half the time, but 2022-2023 Roman was peak promos in term of delivery/content
Drew's literally been my favorite wrestler in the world since 2019 so I tried my best to limit his rankings to be as objective as possible, but the Punk promos are probably 8 tier too

Balor is a bit of a non-factor but he is the tag champ rn so
Work's about a 7.5, bordering on an 8 but he's definitely getting up in years
Look is 7, he's a manlet but he's still got the abs and i'll be generous and throw in the general demon face paint aesthetic
Entertainment's a 6.5, Judgement Day has probably bumped him up from even lower but he's never really had much of a gimmick going on
Promo's a 5, Finn has the type of voice that really needs to be able to swear, so in the WWE style he's kinda fucked
Overall: 26, i'd put him above Riddle but below Takeshita

Cody is a much better promo than Roman. Can talk about anything without any flubs or crutches. Sure it's corny, but he's a pro wrestling babyface, Hogan was corny too.
Roman is entertaining for sure, definitely the most entertaining in WWE for me, but it's because of the way he carries himself, not necessarily his actual promo work. Thinking back to their promos last year, Cody came across better every time.
And I think Punk is as close to a perfect wrestling promo you're gonna get this side of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Literally all his major promos have multiple quotable lines and he almost always engages the crowd. No one on this list is on his level, maybe not even prime Jericho. Like just look at the promo he cut injured after the Rumble, crowd seemed kind of dead and even hit him with the "WHAT?" but he turned it around with 2-3 slick lines and immediately got them on his side again. He's mastered cutting promos to the point where even the obvious kissass bullshit he's been peddling recently sounds extremely convincing and easily mogs everyone else.

For the Japanese guys its kinda hard for a non-Jap speaker to rate but I can recall some great lines and he generally speaks confidently, it might be a little high but I see it as if he picked up a microphone and talked in some Japanese to a english audience, he has the aura to pull it off even if they dont know what the fuck he's saying
