AEW only has Wembley as a success. As a british wrestling fan let me tell you, fucking TNA could have sold out wembley. Despite wrestling being super popular here, We were so starved of any meaningful wrestling events its unreal.

Look at any UK WWE event and you'll see they sold out too.Heck back when TNA toured here circa 201o (iirc) they did great.

I said 2010? I went to several of the house shows, they were packed to the rafters.

But I still maintain that they could. Selling out an event in the UK is not an achievement.Heck fucking Tidal regularly get 2-3k for their bigger shows.

Brits will swallow up any wrestling handed to them.

i'm a bong and you're right. wrestling was still crazy popular here long after the boom period ended. i went to a tna show here and i'd bet most were casual fans who watched back in the day, lots of 3:16 shirts and people there just to see the old guys like sting.
