Taker was perfect. It allowed them to do fanservice without it being too egregious. Having Austin come out would have just been predictable. And what do you do with him after he stunners Rock? He would just awkwardly leave the ring or stand outside? With Taker you can just cut the lights off and disappear him. Fantastic booking decision.
