I've been playing smackdown vs raw 2006 lately and enjoying the gm mode it has. I suck at it but its fun booking shitty matches and trying to make money. I would be playing shut your mouth but it randomly freezes up in cutscenes so its unplayable for a season mode. hctp ive played to death so taking a break from it for now. I still enjoy and play smackdown 1 & 2 thru emulator also. both season modes are pretty good but repeats alot of shit (smackdown 2 is better at it than 1). pretty much all of them up til 2011 or whatever it was are decent in different ways those the storymodes in 2008+ werent that good especially 2009/10's setup

2007 was the one i played the most, i didn't play any of the ones before that because i wasn't really into wrestling yet. i also really enjoyed the RTWM modes from 9-11. 08 is obviously the worst one

I stopped playing when they removed bra & panties matches and only played them when they added bra & panties matches. Really, I just enjoy bras and also panties.

I'm in the same boat. I'm considering either doing a SYM or 06 season mode playthrough. SvR made some good changes, but also had a lot of shit I hated. I can't remember much from 06. Other than the improved grapple and Irish whips.

If shut your mouth didnt freeze up randomly on me in cutscenes making it unplayable i'd be all over it. It has brock lesner as playable (who I picked) a draft and it has euro and hardcore belt as belts you can chase (brock won the hardcore before I gave up on the cutscene freezes). great game and did alot of things right imo. I think in some aspects its better than hctp.
