I don’t think they're psychopaths, but given how the media back in their day often pushed dehumanization of non-whites, it's no wonder these images don't phase them like the victims aren’t seen as 'their people.'

Thankfully, the next generation seems free of these issues, but boomers still hugely influence American elections. Because of this, we're seeing entire groups, including women and children, continue to suffer atrocities and displacement. Meanwhile, nations that preach human rights look the other way just because the victims aren’t white. It’s utterly dystopian. This situation helps no one, and it sure doesn’t put us in a position to lecture non-Western countries about their treatment of minorities
