Because the relation was with Scott D'amore, not TNA itself. When TNA fired Scotty pretty much all the stuff WWE and TNA had been doing together ended.

Matt, let it go. Everyone hated the feud and the team was together for only a couple of months where Bray went from wrestling Taker at mania to jobbing in the preshow. The Bray/Hardy stuff was the blackest moment in Bray’s career. They took him off TV for nearly a year to wash the stink off.
