Rewatching 1997 Raw and can’t help but think how pathetic DX was. Seems like Vince was grasping at straws with an anti-establishment faction since the nWo was so successful. NWO was miles better and it shows.

Literally DX for three entire years ended with a low blow and then an interference. It was awful back then and rewatching it now it's even worse than I thought back when I was a kid.

Both factions got stale after about two years, but nWo was miles ahead of DX in every metric.

Every NWO match involved predictable run-ins and their promos were nothing great either. DX's antics like turning the Nation of Domination against the Hart Foundation by framing them as racists was way more fun than the NWO coming out just to suck Hogan's dick over and over again.

Yeah, DX was cringey as shit. It was a bunch of guys in their 30s making lame dick jokes and stealing shit from hip hop they obviously didn't actually listen to. The only memorable moment DX ever had was that "tank" sketch outside the arena WCW was filming at, and it's only really memorable because WWE's revisionist history won't let anyone forget about it.
