WWE in “panic mode” over ticket sales, fires 2 high ranking employees

Per SRS and Fightful:
Levin was the driving force behind the recent international shows. Shows which, sadly, have not drawn nearly the gates they expected. Backlash was a disappointment domestically and Clash at the Castle 2 is being considered a “flop” internally.
Rubin was the face behind WWE’s local marketing, a key focus lately has been boosting walk up ticket sales with heavy local advertising. Unfortunately, the last few weeks of TV have seen precipitous declines in attendance and the total tickets sold in May of 2024 is a shocking 45% below May of 2023. Upcoming shows tell a story of 1/4 full arenas, despite heavy discounts on tickets and multiple “buy one get one” type promotions.
