I think it's sad that one man was able to shift the opinion of so many, not only the opinions of the fanbase, but also the opinions of the workers and even plenty experienced veterans. All of a sudden these people start pretending like technician flyer and AJPW larp matches are "objectively" the only good wrestling matches and everything else is bad purely because of some made up metric, despite the fact that there are a dozen more wrestling styles and there's a hell of a lot more nuance to matches than just what they like. I guess that just shows how absolutely grim the state of pro wrestling was after the mid early 2000s.
