>>18873976>Is it that hard to take a shower?Alright, I'll keep it real and long since we're semi-anonymous here:
I'm a fatass shut-in geek that lives alone
I rarely go outside unless I have to. Not a complete loser though, I have a real 9-5 job and live in my own place (rentoid)
I work 5 days out of the week. One of my two off-days, I go out to do mandatory shopping, bill-paying, etc.
I personally see taking a shower, brushing my teeth, etc. as a 'task'. Something that I don't want to do and don't see as an automatic daily thing to do, but rather something that I have to make myself do when I feel it's needed (which is most days)
I make sure to shower, put on deodorant and brush my teeth EVERY WORK DAY before going to work, because I KNOW I'm gonna be around people and will be talking to people's faces on those days
Like 70% of my shopping off-days I'll do it too, but there's that other 30% where I'm like "fuck it" and just throw on some clean clothes to go out
The other off-day that I spend inside? I rarely shower/brush teeth that day because I'm inside by myself
And I always made sure to do laundry regularly to always have fresh clothes
I imagine there are some neets who aren't around people that often who simply don't see the need to do personal hygiene/laundry that much, so it's too much of a 'task' for them mentally to do it regularly
Plus people may be too nice to tell them how much they stink as a result, so they're just not generally aware of how bad their habits are
tl;dr: laziness, lack of awareness of their stink level, and a mental block due to not prioritizing personal hygiene as a daily mandatory thing for social purposes, is why many wrestling fans stink so much
