I've been following Joseph montecillo's "Walking the kings road" series but despite him and the general 90s AJPW fandom holding that time frame as full of classics and contenders for all-time best matches, out of all i've seen so far, the highest i've rated a match has been 4 stars
Now, in my scale 4 stars is still a great match but again, everyone sells some of them as masterpieces or whatever. Is there something i'm not seeing?

I don't hate the matches, it's just that i haven't found one that i'd rate 5 stars yet
For example i rated June 3rd 94' 4/5 stars. It was a great match but i'm very picky about what i give 4+ stars and even more so what i give 5 stars, and as of the time i'm making this post, none of the King's road matches reach that level in my opinion
Still, i'm very new to the King's road so maybe when i go deeper down the rabbit hole it'll grow on me and i'll be fonder of things i didn't care much for at first, who knows

You can't go wrong with any of his stuff vs the Cruiserweights in WCW. His matches vs Mysterio, Jericho, Eddie etc are all amazing

Steiner Brothers.

As for most underrated, I nominate Orient Express/Badd Company. They are almost never talked about but they could work with any team and have a decent match and they had some bangers along the way. Perfect example of an enhancement team done right.
