>>7843049Absolutely not. But for fun, let's play out how he got over but in current times.
Pretend he's a mid-carder who just got his ass kicked by Roman Reigns but he proved to be a tough son of bitch by passing out to a Superman punch (sorry, cant say that with a straight face). A mutual respect is built.
Then Roman Reigns faced Cody and lost when the ref called for the bell because Triple H told him to. Cody becomes the champ. Reigns leaves for AEW.
Now Austin fills his spot and doesn't like what Triple H did because Austin respected Roman Reigns for knocking him out cold. Austin tries to avenge Reigns by constantly attacking Cody and ruining any Triple H grandstanding. Triple H brings in Jake Paul (2022 Tyson equivalent) to be an enforcer at the Austin vs Cody Wrestlemania match where Austin wins.
Triple H is seething and builds a support group of wrestlers to thwart Austin until it culminates to a fight at wrestlemania together.
Does that sound like it would get over? Also remember, Austin can't flip ANYONE off, or drink beer. But he will come out every night in the main event to stun someone.
