Will it look less indie now? I don’t like the over-slick production of WWE but there should be a middle ground between that and current AEW.

If it’s just polishing the look that’s not going to help much. Unless it’s crazy extreme like making it look similar to the NBA or in the opposite direction like Lucha Underground. Any real change will come from booking, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. Even if it did, what could they do to better fill two hours with that exact roster?

AEW also doesn't overdue it with lighting and camera cuts. They miss some shots (Kieth Mitchell did this all the time even in TNA and he was their production guy) but overall the presentation is okay.
Big corporation stepping in to change up the shows look, espwcially since its WBD, just tells me it's gonna look overproduced and hideous just like WWE because they know no other way.
