It's not that this attracts weirdo freaks, they were watching before AEW or had a friend who was, it just makes them feel that they can do anything and get accepted. Online this is fine because they are in their bubbles but in real life it becomes funny because they're contrasted by the normal people in the crowd.
In contrast WWE fans (especially here) are obsessed with making WWE mainstream and "cool" to a broader audience. It's why you don't really see many total weirdos at WWE events but the degenerates you see online generally have more shame and try to hide their behaviours than AEW weirdos.
